Story Movie

A small town in West Virginia holds an annual Mountain Man festival dedicated to Halloween. Review 4K Movie

I am always happy to see a new installment of the well-known horror film ‘Wrong Turn’, although for me, this film died with the second installment. The film “Wrong Turn” comes out every year—it has become a tradition, just like the new “Saw” film used to come out every fall, but these two horror films have nothing in common; I would even say that they have nothing in common at all. The first and most important point that has been missing in the last three parts is quality. There was no such thing as quality here at all. It felt like Declan O'Brien wrote the script and shot the film in a matter of days.

Everything was bad, absolutely everything. From the talentless acting to the makeup of these mutants. In the first two parts, these forest cannibals were very scary and ugly, which is what the whole style of this film requires, but here and in the previous part, they seem to have saved a lot on makeup, because it wasn't mutants who killed the poor kids, but ordinary jerks in masks with knives. This film is only worth watching for people who have seen the previous parts and who like very bloody scenes. Declan O'Brien is also the director of the fourth film, which I found more interesting than this one.

I'm always ready to watch a new part, but after this madness, I think I'll give up on further viewings, I've had enough. I don't understand where this talentless director Declan O'Brien came from. I can assure you that the best parts are the first two, where the horror really comes alive and the plot is more or less interesting. Some scenes were too violent, they made me wince and turn my head away. For example, the scene where a mutant cuts open a girl's stomach and stuffs her intestines into her mouth—what kind of moron came up with that? ‘Wrong Turn’ is a magnet for all the talentless.

The actors were terrible, and there were a whole bunch of mistakes in the film, from the appearance of a severed ear to the talentless editing, which resulted in the same person dying twice. There was no plot, or rather, there was, but it's hard to call it a plot. A group of young people gathered for an annual festival, and on the way there, they didn't hit a man standing in the middle of the road for some reason, but when the guys got out of the car, they saw that he was lying there as if he had been hit, which was strange. I'll add to that the car crashing into a tree at high speed, where even the airbags didn't deploy, but the guys all got out without a scratch.

The sheriff arrives at the scene, a pretty, seemingly very fragile woman who arrests everyone and takes them to the station. The guy standing in the road turns out to be the leader of three forest mutants who are striking in their absurdity and stupidity. Night falls, and the mutants are already on their way to the city to free their friend. There's no need to make more movies like this; I think it would be wise to end it all with this installment. To sum up, this is the most talentless and worst part of the entire franchise.
