Michael Morbius has suffered from a rare blood disorder since childhood and has spent his entire conscious life searching for a cure. At some point, Michael sees a possible salvation in the blood of bats and decides to conduct a risky experiment. The experiment causes an unexpected reaction - it changes Morbius' body, turning him into a bloodthirsty monster.

It's happening! The 'Morbius' that everyone (no) has been waiting for with rapture for so many years has finally deigned to appear in the distribution networks of certain countries. Even in Kazakhstan, which is surprising. Not that it was one of the most awaited projects in the history of modern cinema, but you understand: another cinematically ridiculous enemy of Spider-Man, enticing Adria Archona, half-naked and bearded Jared Leto. All in all, what more could one want on a beautiful Saturday April morning after Laugh Day?

It may not seem true, but Jared Leto did break a few bones in his body to resemble a cripple.

It's worth admitting that Daniel Espinosa's film is at least better than the two incomprehensible something called 'Venom' and 'Venom 2.' A fat and probably major plus, for the two post-litre scenes are enticing in their own way, but did not produce a wondrous wow effect. Watching the scene of the interrogation of the doctor, suddenly a sadness settled in my head: and in fact, if you shoot 'Morbius' in the spirit of the recent 'Joker' Todd Phillips, would have received such a savory drama about the struggle with the monster inside himself. So much sacrifice, and for what? So many questions and no answers. Conflict. Curtain.

There is dull romantic interest, a similarly capable antagonist, investigators as moving furniture, flat humor, the presence of boredom and a lack of epic scope. You don't seem to need to be Vanga to predict the film's success among tick-tockers, who are given a new crush to create their uncomplicated videos. Or instagram will use scenes from the movie and include a kick-ass remix in the background.

Some sources have reported that Jared Leto, who is compared to Jesus because of his appearance, decided to abandon the use of visual effects in order to really float in the air. To do this, the entire film crew specifically waited for the right wind direction.

When many of you watch the movie, you will agree with us that there is criminally little blood in the scenes where the vampire(s) are sort of present. Where are the hundreds, thousands of liters of prop blood to recreate the bloody feast! The PG-13 rating, be damned, fails to convey the desired effect. Think now of 1998's 'Blade' with its pale blue shades of cold steel, with burgundy fluid gushing out of people after being bitten. It's soooooo good! All in all, it's no fun at all to turn on an old cartoon series about Spidey and all your favorite enemies.

At the request of the 'Suicide Squad' star, the fact that Jared Leto went to live in a cave somewhere in the Costa Rican jungle for 3 months to get close to the bats for a perfect understanding of his future role was hidden from the public. The experiment was so successful that the actor wanted to play the role of Bat Man, who was actually bitten by nocturnal mammals.

'Morbius' can only be compared to a typical mass-produced product. You bought it, took a picture, swallowed it, ate it, went to the bathroom, and your stomach didn't even realize it was digested. Jared Leto certainly fits the role of the desperate doctor who tries his best to find the right cure while death breathes down your neck nonstop. And the story basically looks good in the first half of the movie, but once the action starts, it all goes into typical drivel. Stilted drama, passable characters, the most generic superhero music. All in all, you can wait for a streaming release.
