Well, Thor returns after the 'Avengers Finale', he's whipped himself into shape, periodically rescuing the oppressed, he faces a new villain, Gorr, who threatens to kill all the Gods. Thor is joined by Valkyrie and Jane Foster, who becomes Mighty Thor, now the heroes have to go on a dangerous adventure to stop the villain...

After 11 years since the first "Thor" and more than 10 years of Thor's periodic appearance in the Marvel Universe, I guess I can say that this saga of the great and mighty Thor has not become special and favorite for me, alas, who I "liked" from this story is only Loki, but okay.

"Thor: Love and Thunder", what can you say about this movie, I guess, that it rolled into some second-rate comedy with idiotic gags, and if possible in "Thor: Ragnarok" the change of genre partly benefited the story and was something new (although I remember that the movie was scolded for it).

Here, however, that "rolled" in "Ragnarok" was elevated to an absolute, there was a feeling that "the circus left" and the clown in the face of Thor remained, I do not dispute that there were funny moments, but from some scenes I wanted to "roll my eyes". As for the visuals, yes the movie is vivid, full of all sorts of events, which change very quickly and herein lies another problem of the movie, it is too fast, we are thrown from one extreme to another, so there is a feeling that here is not finished telling, there is not finished telling, as far as I understand, the movie is cut up and we can say that this time the dynamics of the narration played a cruel joke.

As for the story itself, it is standard to the bone, there are heroes - there is a villain who wants revenge, by the way, Gorr played by Christian Bale is another disappointment and it is not about the actor, but about the character, he turned out, you could say, ordinary without charisma. To my disappointment, the presence of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the narrative was extremely minimal.

About the actors. Chris Hemsworth, Thor, he keeps trying to find meaning in his life and is given a chance to find it in the form of the return of Jane Foster, Hemsworth is in great shape, he still plays his character with feeling, except that Thor became more and more like some sort of walking clumsy disaster.

Natalie Portman, Jane Foster, Portman's comeback turned out to be quite interesting as Mighty Thor, she looked decent and her storyline had drama, you could tell that most of the attention was drawn to her character. Tessa Thompson, Valkyrie, her character was woefully lacking. Christian Bale, Gorr, again, turned out to be a typical "without his zest" villain.

In short, "Thor: Love and Thunder" unfortunately became a disappointment for me, this was helped by the chaotic narration, not fully disclosing the characters due to lack of time, also there was no memorable and spectacular action scenes, plus the "Guardians of the Galaxy" sinking and Thor turning into some absurd, sometimes rumpled character.
