Very interested in the next cartoon by the mouse office, especially in the background of the catastrophic failure at the box office and the brutal online abuse.

In the trailers Strange World looked very interesting - bright animation, interesting characters, incomprehensible plot. In reality there are only two questions - why and for whom.

The action unfolds in a closed world, from which there is no exit. Or rather, there is, but it is almost impossible to overcome. What a brave team of explorers gathers in order to conquer the impregnable mountains and escape to the outside world.

During the expedition an unknown plant is discovered that literally produces pure electricity. GG decides to turn back and bring clean energy to the masses, GG's father insists on continuing - so the paths diverge.

What follows is a steam-punk idyll: civilization blooms (in every sense), a kind of peace-loving Bioshock Infinite. But an epidemic of energy hovering begins, and the G.G. rushes off to find out why. There will be many beautiful scenes, action, family(s) figuring things out, an unexpected denouement that makes you scroll through the whole cartoon in your head from the beginning.

Great, now to the questions.

0. Achtung, listing: The Protagonist is a farmer who's been slaving away in the field every day for 25 years. A white wimp and slob of 40 years who can't throw a cucumber farther than a meter.

The father of the protagonist is a white, big-headed, scumbag.

GG's wife is a super-positive mother, a megapilot, black.

G.G.'s son is a troubled teenager with family problems, aspiring to be Indiana Jones. Mulatto. Gay.

President of the country - overbearing woman, single-minded. Asian.

Commander of the main ship - a great little leader. Indian.

All men are either idiots, scumbags, or droolers.

1. Why. Take away the previous point and the output is beautiful animation with an interesting plot and family values.

2. For whom. Pre-schoolers just to look at the colorful handicraft, teenagers and 50+ will not be interested, 18-40 may be interested, but will be nauseated by the excessive tolerance. It hit home for me as a doctor, which is why I was rewinding the whole course of events in my head, remembering individual seemingly insignificant things. The dinky leukocyte and his fellow monocytes and platelets alone were worth a lot!

In the end, the cartoon collapsed due to an overabundance of tolerance and a shot in search of an audience, without finding the latter.
