Review 4K Movie

I personally liked the movie. He is not a failure. And you must understand that this film was shot by Roland Emmerich. He has his own style at the expense of large-scale films. Whatever his epic movie is to take everywhere, the same tricks are seen. Show one big event from different angles, methodically show the event itself sequentially as it is. This film is suitable to get acquainted with the Battle of Midway.

I did not expect strong drama. I didn’t want the war film to be about love only. I went to see the adaptation of this battle. And I think Emmerich put on a decent movie. After a couple of years, you can safely watch Pearl Harbor first in the evening and then continue with the Midway movie. And this will be the general picture of what happened between the USA and Japan in the Pacific Ocean.

From the pros. Good setting fights in the Pacific. Intense scenes. Michael Bey simply didn’t have such fights. And here they are the main content.

Of the minuses. The attack on Pearl Harbor had poor computer graphics. Well, I don’t know how Michael Bey managed to arrange a realistic pyrotechnic show in the Harbor, but he looked realistic. Here in this film a lot is being built through the Marvelian computer graphics. Well, excuse me, but not everything does only graphics. Computer fire is done well but it is visible that it is computer. I didn’t see this at Bey.

The film is not perfect and can not be compared with Dunkirk. These are different views on how to shoot a particular battle. Each director has his own views. Say thank you that people generally undertake to make a less dramatic film but a good enough quality historical film about the battle.
