'Lips of Blood' is an old horror movie. As we know, they are often not uninteresting.

There is no wild pron, as some might think, in the movie. But, nevertheless. There is a lot of eroticism. And it's not always symbolism. So some 'such' scenes are unnecessary.

The movie is undynamic. No action. No screemers. But it is interesting. It moves smoothly without any sharp turns. The best thing about the movie is the gothic atmosphere. This movie is one of the first in the gothic genre. The movie often stops in certain locations, so that the audience can consider absolutely everything, to get into the atmosphere.

Well, of course, I have no right to criticize the actors from the 1976 film. I can note a very high quality performance of Jean-Loup Flippe. This is his game I liked very much.
