Hollywood, 1985. Maxine, the only survivor of the massacre on a Texas farm, has already made a name for herself in adult movies and is now trying to make her way into a big movie. Well, this time, the action of the movie unfolds in 1985, six years after the events of the original movie. Already familiar to the viewer Maxine Minx, decides to start a career in Hollywood and star in a horror movie. But her past can not let go.

And so, to gather in the movie Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins and Kevin Bacon is very cool. But these actors have very little screen time, none of their characters are revealed, and as a result they have no strong influence on the plot. There's no point in caring about the fate of any of them.

Mia Goth is the new queen of horror and the strong point of the movie. The actress has a very interesting appearance, manner of acting and the ability to get into the role. If you have seen interviews with the actress, you know that in life she is completely different than her screen character. Maxine Meeks is amazing, her determination, resilience and drive for fame make her even more interesting. Maxine is not the type of person who will be scared of some shadow, she knows how to protect herself.

The plot of the movie is a bit chaotic, here you can compare it to the 'Scream' movies.

The beginning is captivating, the scene with Maxine at the casting is gorgeous, the actress immediately puts out all 100. Why were flashback scenes inserted, what are they for? After all, they have no influence on the plot in the end.

The movie looks with interest, but it lacks dynamics, at times it was boring, but the violence in this movie was even too much.

The movie is very atmospheric, 80s tracks, neon signs of Los Angeles. Grainy picture, which refers to VSH videocassettes, montage of shots, which were actual in those times. Credit should be given to the stylists and set designers.

The movie was drawn out by the actors, particularly Mia Goth, and the atmosphere, which was perfectly conveyed throughout the movie.

I want to be honest, going into the movie, I expected to see something crazy, 'X' style. The trailer looked stylish, bright and exciting, and in the end it is the most adequate and not the most exciting movie of the trilogy.
