Harrington College has long since lost its pristine character. Its shabby corridors are filled daily with the future of America - loners and leaders, dudes and junkies, smart guys and morons. Like teenagers everywhere, they are in constant battle with each other.

But one day, the students make a terrifying discovery: their teachers are aliens from another planet! Faced with a challenge they couldn't even imagine, the former enemies are forced to band together to escape the alien invasion...

1- The cast.

Not particularly popular in the distant 98, now these people can collect the movie hall just by their presence in the picture - Josh Hartnett (still go to him more roles of such noble loon), Elijah Wood (I do not like, but Lord of the Rings has done its black work), Robert Patrick, Salma Haik.

2. The creators - well, everything is clear here - if they had taken on Santa Barbara - and it would be watchable!

3. Plot. Yes, not the discoverers, but in this context - with black humor, a lot of young people and bright colors looks quite interesting. And there are interesting filming tricks for that time - stop the picture on the table torment and sign - Casey. Cool, huh?

4. Music. No comment. You can listen to it without the movie.

5. And finally!!! Discard everything that is written above, if it is such a big overload of words - the essence is only here! What for me is the most important and wonderful thing about this movie is that, gentlemen, for that time - the time of our childhood and youth it is almost unique!!! Those whom we now call schoolboys will obviously not understand it, because they have already had time to make so much cheap crap about screaming teenagers, whom everyone wants to kill with a saw/ miracle virus/laser beam from space, that the genre is not only irrelevant, but disgusting. And in those times, what could the youth be satisfied with - Shout, Bikes at the campfire, yes Faculty. That's when it was new, lively and cool! Pretty young actors, black humor, sunny colors. In the movie you could not watch the main plot, you could look at the relationships of the characters! Who can boast of this - right - The X-Files, when the 2nd season people have already stopped being interested in alien invasions, and began to care whether Agent Scully will be with Agent Mulder. And many wanted to be in the place of these teenagers in evergreen Ohio, to blow dope with Zeke and kick the ass of bad aliens. That's what many current movies lack - they can not capture and not let go until the last minute, we can not, and we do not want to be in the place of movie heroes.
