The Fabelmans 4K 2022 Ultra HD 2160p
New Jersey, early 1950s. Having been to a movie theater for the first time in his life and seeing a train wreck on the screen, little Sammy Fabelman was so impressed that he nearly broke an expensive toy railroad when he tried to reenact the accident. For therapeutic purposes, his mother suggests that the boy film the toy crash on an 8mm camera. This is how a childhood hobby and filming goofy home movies grows into a great love and lifelong passion for Sam: directing movies.

Review 4K Movie

Steven Spielberg is one of the greatest directors who gave the world dozens of wonderful films. His films were loved not only by the jury of all kinds of festivals but by the audience as well.

An accessible film language, a fascinating plot, bright characters, memorable soundtracks - that's why we all love Spielberg's films so much.

The new picture "Fabelmans" can be easily put among the top films of the director. This picture, which wants to advise everyone.

It is a very simple film about a boy and his dream to make movies. But it is the film's simplicity and sincerity that gives it payoff.

The film begins with an event that turns the main character's life upside down forever, namely a trip to the movies. While watching it, little Sam Fabelman remains so impressed by the train wreck scene that he cannot sleep for days.

And then, just in time for Hanukkah (because the Fabelmans are Jewish), Sam is given a toy train and a railroad as a gift. However, instead of playing games, the boy films the very scene of the train wreck on his father's camera.

This little episode becomes the impetus for his further fascination with filming.

Sam grows up and his passion for film becomes even stronger. He shoots high school movies, family videos, and increasingly realizes that he loves movies even more than his family. Of course, this frightens the young man.

But Sam is lucky to have a wonderful family: his younger sisters are in his films, his father helps financially with the shooting and his mother is his muse and support. It is his mother who helps Sam to believe in himself and follow his dreams.

Sam worships his mother, as does the rest of the family. Mitzi is a very bright, energetic woman and a creative person. She plays the piano amazingly and seems like a very happy person. It's only through the lens of the camera that Sam begins to see her differently. These are very emotional, sad scenes.

More problems arise when the Fabelmans move to California, and Sam becomes the subject of ridicule at his new school because of his background. But here, too, his passion for movies comes to the rescue.

Despite the hardships, young Sam continues to dream of the big movies. He goes forward to his dream, and in the future, as we already understand, he does become a director, because this is a semi-biographical film about the rise of Steven Spielberg himself.

Spielberg has masterfully transferred his youthful memories into this film. There are the old film cameras, the film work, the creation of simple but inventive movie effects (like gun shots), and, of course, the eager eyes of the budding director. That's the magic of cinema. It's simple, yet so charming to watch.

I also liked that Spielberg emphasized not only the main character, as is often the case, but also revealed the characters of other people who influenced Sam's formation in one way or another.

Paul Dano as the father of the Fabelman family and Michelle Williams as the mother made a wonderful screen couple. Uncle Benny, played by Seth Rogen, also pleasantly surprised. Uncle Boris came off as equally memorable. The schoolchildren and the extras are all in their places. And of course, how not to mention the performer Sam - a young talented actor Gabriel LaBelle. He made the movie even better with his charm.

The main star of the film here is Michelle Williams. She is incredibly organic as Sam's mother. So lively, charismatic, sophisticated. This role is just made for her. A complete delight.

I can't help but notice the music by John Williams. As always, perfectly and successfully fits into the fabric of the film.

To summarize, 'Fabelbans' is an absolutely wonderful picture. Absolutely everything is wonderful. Spielberg has once again proved that he is a master of great cinema.
