Story Movie
The ordinary Korean Kim family does not pamper life. You have to live in a damp, dirty basement, steal the Internet from your neighbors and interrupt by random part-time jobs. Once a friend of the son of the family, leaving for an internship abroad, suggests that he be replaced and worked as a tutor at a high school student in a wealthy Pak family. Having faked a diploma of higher education, the guy goes to a chic design mansion and makes a good impression on the hostess of the house. Immediately, an unusual plan for the employment of his sister comes to his mind.
Review 4K Movie
The cinema that surrounds us is just a speck of world heritage. The most popular paintings are created in the European and American markets. Imagine how many great films pass by because major publications ignore them. The "parasites" Pong Joon-Ho avoided this fate, having managed to pick up the "Golden Palm Branch" in Cannes. He approached the work of the South Korean director with a share of skepticism. Still, Asians look at the world in a completely different way. All the more interesting, since having managed to penetrate deeply under the skin, “Parasites” have become a real revelation of this year. And no matter how you feel about Asian cinema, it’s absolutely impossible to miss a new job by Pong Joon-Ho.
The story of the confrontation between the rich and the poor is incredibly easy, logical, and holistic. The plot consists of the smallest cogs, each of which works at the right time. The timeline is dotted with rifles dutifully waiting for their exit. "Parasites" in an amazing (ha!) Way hold attention, preventing distractions from external stimuli. Moreover, the atmosphere, genre and pace of the narrative are replaced several times in 2 hours. Yes, Pong Jun-Ho shot the author’s picture, but it never annoys and does not give rise to serious thoughts. This is an attraction. The reference attraction, designed to entertain the beholder to the final credits. The perfect movie for everyone (almost) right in front of you.
The plot episodes are depicted with love and awe. From the technical side, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Deep, elaborate scenes smoothly succeed each other, and drama is emphasized by the means of cinema. The operator reflects reality with a taste of aesthetics. It doesn’t matter if it’s dialogue or dynamic driving, furniture is always huddled in the frame, and people live in the background. Color, light and sound create unique scenes. It may seem that Pong Jun-Ho is an innovator, but the Parasites are juggling existing technologies. Everything has been invented long ago, why do other directors express themselves so lazily? The riddle.
Pong Joon-Ho's work contains subtext. The thought “between the lines” is guessed quickly enough and without deep analysis. No brain drain, but only neat: "Hmm, that's cool." You can catch on, they say: "The relations of different segments of the population are reflected superficially." Once again, this is an entertaining movie designed to dazzle with all kinds of emotions. Believe me, "Parasites" perfectly cope with this task. Joy, sadness and pleasure mix and slowly flow through the arteries. If desired, the film is easily displayed in bricks, each of which is far from ideal. But parts create harmony. Perhaps this is the magic of cinema.
Seriously, you don’t have to rack your brains to remember the pictures that reveal better on separate sides. “Oldboy” Pak Chkhan-uk (we’re talking about South Korea without him) twisted the story much harder, and his final twist made him pick his jaw from the floor. The recent “Roma” Alfonso Cuarona lifted the bar of detail development to an unprecedented level. It is unlikely that anyone dared to put half a hundred people into the background. And there is nothing to say about “allegorical”. Another art house is perplexing, and the only thought after watching: "What?" If desired, the film is easily displayed. But I do not want to do this.
"Parasites" are blinded by a bright flash. This story, sometimes easy, sometimes depressing, rivets to the screen and does not leave indifferent. Head you understand that Pong Joon-Ho came up with a strong, but not a great picture. The heart says the opposite. After watching the work of the South Korean director, each particle inside rejoices. Breathing is allowed only on the credits. To say, "Wow, that was cool." Every few years, films are released that bring to euphoria. When there are not enough words to describe the internal state. Rationalism goes to the tenth plane, leaving genuine emotions. Something inexplicable. You are on the same wavelength with the creator, and he communicates with you directly. We are rarely reminded that cinema can be so beautiful.
